Kyrgyzstan

The som (Kyrgyz: сом; ISO code: KGS; sign: с) is the official currency of Kyrgyzstan.
The word som (alternatively transliterated “sum” or “soum”) means “pure” in Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Uyghur and Uzbek, as well as in many other Turkic languages.
