|Comment||The Druk is considered the “Thunder Dragon” of Bhutanese mythology. It’s a Bhutanese national symbol and appears on the national flag.
Simtokha Dzong Palace is a small dzong (fortress) . It was built in 1629 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, who unified Bhutan.
