Security features Consecutively running black horizontal serial numbers on the front of the banknote. 6 separate denomination numerals “5” fluoresce in peach on the obverse while being exposed to ultraviolet light. Solid embedded 0,3 mm wide security thread.

Reverse Larabanga Mosque. It is a mosque built in the Sudanese architectural style in the village of Larabanga, Ghana. It is the oldest mosque in the country and one of the oldest in West Africa.
