This Star of David, which we carried with us in the thousands of years of exile, dispersal and agony; This Star of David, which we had a miracle in all our wanderings; This Star of David, which has become a disgrace to our people; This azure white flag, which we carry in all the ropes of our country, the Land of Israel; Who accompanied our pioneers on their first plow of wilderness land; Which was leveled by our fighters to battle on a battlefield in World War II; Which is spread over the walls of the Warsaw ghetto in desperate revolt; This flag, to which all the forces of the Jewish people struggling for salvation in the land of the ancestors were summoned – today expresses our complete communality as it flutters proudly as the fifty-ninth flag in this great circle, symbolizing the unity and best of humanity as a whole.
