Remark This banknote was issued in 3 series A, B & C. Series A has no variants, series B has variants on serial numbers, with 7 & 8 digits, series C has variants on serial numbers, 7 & 8 digits, and also has reposition issues, identified by serial numbers being of 8 digits, starting with “9” (was detected fake reposition, where used 7-digit notes, adding “9” to start of serial number. It is easily detected width magnifying glass, as added digit doesn’t have the correct alignment/separation with originals.

On 1975, currency was reformed to Nuevo Peso, at a rate of 1:1000 (1 Nuevo Peso= 1,000 Pesos M/N), as there was a remain of un-issued banknotes of serial C (normal and reposition), they were overprinted on the watermark zone with seal: “N$ 10 LEY Nº 14.316” in a circle, and issued while the new “Nuevos Pesos” banknotes were printed, and reached Bank. Must be noticed the numbering of the sealed notes was within the unsealed 7-digit, and corresponding reposition, not at end.
